Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Tokyo
Arrive at Narita or Haneda Airport. Collect your JR Pass and transfer to Shinjuku. Evening walk around the buzzing Shinjuku nightlife district.
Traditional Tokyo: Asakusa & Ueno
Start at Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, in the early morning mist. Explore the Nakamise shopping street, then head to Ueno's museums and the peaceful Yanaka district.
Modern Tokyo: Harajuku & Shibuya
Witness Tokyo's fashion creativity on Takeshita Street in Harajuku, meditate at Meiji Shrine, then join the world-famous Shibuya Crossing scramble at rush hour.
Mt. Fuji Day Trip
Board the Shinkansen to Mishima, then travel to Fuji Five Lakes. Reach the 5th Station on Mt. Fuji, take a boat on Lake Kawaguchiko, and return via Hakone (time permitting).
Akihabara, Ginza & TeamLab
